BlackBerry Terms and Conditions

BlackBerry Unlimited

If you take BlackBerry Internet Solution from O2 Unlimited with a new consumer voice contract a 6 month minimum term contract applies. During the minimum term you may not transfer from the BlackBerry Internet Solution from O2 Unlimited to the BlackBerry Internet Solution from O2 Pay As You Use. If the BlackBerry Internet Solution from O2 Unlimited tariff is added to a SIM Card which is already contracted under an existing Agreement to a voice tariff, at the end of the Minimum Period of that SIM Card in respect of the existing Agreement, the SIM Card shall be required to serve an additional Minimum Period of 6 months

A fair usage policy applies and average monthly usage of BlackBerry data by any BlackBerry SIM Card connected to a BlackBerry Internet Solution from O2 Unlimited tariff is expected to be below 200MB. Excessive usage volume, determined at O2's discretion, acting reasonably, will constitute abuse. O2 reserves the right to monitor usage, to apply additional Charges or to withdraw the BlackBerry Internet Solution from O2 Unlimited tariff from any individual BlackBerry SIM Card, or all BlackBerry SIM Cards contracted to a Customer at any time in the case of overuse or abuse of the tariff.

BlackBerry Pay As You Use Terms

Once you have selected to use the BlackBerry Internet Solution from O2 Pay As You Use you will not be able to opt out of this service within 1 month from the date on which it is first provided by O2, however if you elect to receive a subsidised BlackBerry device in conjunction with opting to use the BlackBerry Internet Solution from O2 Pay As You Use then you may be required to extend the Minimum Period of the SIM Card under your O2 voice contract.

On the BlackBerry Internet Solution from O2 Pay as You Use tariff data usage is measured in megabytes (MB). 1MB = 1024 Kilobytes (KB). Data usage is rounded to the nearest kilobyte on a daily basis and Pay As You Use Charges are rounded up to the nearest 1p. Charges apply to all data via the BlackBerry Internet Solution™. You will be billed for the amount of data that travels over the data network. To ensure you are always in receipt of your most recent emails, when your BlackBerry Device is switched on and enabled, it is always in regular contact with the data network and this uses about 10KB a day which is chargeable.

Service Terms

Please note, if your O2 voice tariff includes a free or inclusive data allowance, this will be removed when you add the BlackBerry Internet Solution tariff to your voice service.

Integration of email accounts with the BlackBerry Internet Service is subject to your email service provider and/or company IT infrastructure and policy.

O2 reserves the right to upgrade and change the specification of the BlackBerry Internet Service at any time. This may entail, but is not limited to, changes to the web interface, rules around the maximum number of days that data will be retained and mailbox capacity.
