Pay & Go

You don't need a monthly contract to get an iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS. There are three models to choose from:

• iPhone 3G 8GB - £342.50
• iPhone 3GS 16GB - £440.40
• iPhone 3GS 32GB - £538.30

When you buy a new iPhone from us, we'll give you 12 months of unlimited* web and Wi-Fi. It's called the O2 Web & Wi-Fi Bolt On, and you'll be able to keep it at the end of the 12 months for £10 a month if you like. We'll let you know when it's time.

To get your 12 months, you'll need to use the new sim that comes with your iPhone 3G. If you're already on O2 Pay & Go, it's easy to transfer your number to your new phone. Just fill in this form.

Don't forget, if you're on Pay & Go, you won't be able to get Visual Voicemail, call merging or Internet tethering. And you'll need to change your data (APN) settings to use services like mobile internet.

Tariffs

When you first get your iPhone, it'll be on Favourite Place. It gives you unlimited¹ calls to UK landlines and O2 mobiles from any postcode you choose. The more you top up, the more minutes you'll get:

• Top up £10-£14 and get 500 minutes
• Top up £15-£29 and get 1000 minutes
• Top up £30+ and get unlimited minutes

Calls you make on top of your bundle cost from 5p a minute in the UK, and texts are 10p each. More details.

Downloading data costs £3 a MB in the EU and £6 a MB everywhere else.

How do I get one?

You can buy one from our online shop, O2 stores, Apple or The Carphone Warehouse.

The iPhone 3G 8GB and iPhone 3GS are available now.

Once you've got your new iPhone, you'll need to connect to iTunes to activate it, so make sure you've got an internet connection and iTunes. Your computer needs to meet these specs to run iTunes:

If you've got a Mac:

• USB 2.0 port
• Mac OS X v10.4.11 or later
• iTunes v8.2 or later

• USB 2.0 port
• Windows Vista, or Windows XP Home or professional with Service Pack 2 or later
• iTunes v8.2 or later

Keep your number

If you're on another network and don't fancy telling all your friends your new phone number, it's really easy to transfer the one you've got to your new iPhone. Just give your network a call and ask them for your PAC code. When you've got it, give it to us when you buy your iPhone in-store, or tell us online when your iPhone's arrived.

It takes about two working days after we received your PAC code to move the number over. We'll give you a temporary number in the meantime, so you'll be able to call, text and browse as normal.

Upgrade

If you're already on O2 Pay & Go, we might be able to give you an upgrade reward. Like 10% of the value of your top-ups back as calltime, up to £200*. You can upgrade to iPhone 3G in any O2 store or at The Carphone Warehouse. If you choose an O2 store, you'll be able to claim your upgrade reward there. Otherwise, you'll need to call 2210 later. We'll give you your reward within 15 days.

We'll give you 12 months of unlimited O2 Web & Wi-Fi Bolt On when you buy a new iPhone from us. To get this just make sure you use the new sim that comes with it to get your Bolt On.

It's easy to transfer your phone number and balance to your new iPhone. Just fill in this form and we'll do it for you within 24 hours. When it's done, your old sim won't work anymore, so make sure you've moved all your contacts and listened to your voicemails before you fill in this form.
